Well its done.... Tristen had too many ear infections from April to July when usually in the summer it should be lower so they were worried about the winter months coming and what he might run into plus I did not want him in any more antibiotics! So we checked in at like 545 am and got it done.... Tristen was a trooper, he did so well the nurses let him go very soon after getting back from the recovery room yet they said "Stay as long as you want" b/c they liked him and he was such a good patient....

All done and you can tell he was a little sleepy but didnt cry once! He did so well.

First Trip....

Well it only took 9 months but I finally left my little man for the first time last weekend. My parents flew up and got to spend a couple days with Tristen while Hayden and I went to Kansas City for the weekend.... I did pretty good and Tristen did great, so good Gran-mama and Grandpa will do it again willingly I am sure! It was nice to have a little get away and its amazing how easy it is to get out the door without a stroller, diaper bag.. you name it!

Before we left we went to a Saltdogs game and Tristen met the mascot!

Kim and the kids drove up from Texas to come and visit, we were quite busy.... we went to the park, went swimming, went to the zoo, the farmers market, shopping, The children's museum, dinner, played in the sand while I played vball, checked out the football stadium and saw practice, slip n slide..... you name it we did it.... We had so much fun and thinks its going to be an annual trip again next year! Thanks so much for coming up and driving with Ali and Logan Kimmie!

Ali and Logan were everywhere... they had so much fun!

We went to Sunken Gardens and the Rose Garden, Tristen was being very clingy to his stroller that morning, he was so happy to just be riding around, didnt really want to get out....

9 Month Check Up

It took two hours and I was quite annoyed at the end of the time there.... Tristen is doing well, he "failed" the developmental questionnaire.... like does he point, how many consonants does he say..... its a little crazy but its not a problem but we will just do it again at 12 months.... He is crawling, he is babbling like crazy and loves to say DA DA and he has thrown his arms up a couple of time when I do and say SO BIG!

He weighed in at 17 lb 13 oz (12%)

Height 28 3/4 in (60%) -- That's a first being above 50%!!

Head 171/4 (25%)

Athletic Staff Picnic

Tonight was the staff picnic for Hayden and all the athletic staff, so we went and ate some yummy food and played on the football field, Tristens first time on the HUSKER SOIL..... he even made the jumbo-tron.... Also on a side note he has two teeth now and he also started to really crawl on all fours today! On occasion if he gets real excited and wants to be somewhere fast he does the ole army crawl!
