9 month checkup

Tanner went in for his check up today, everything is good and he is still our happy lil spitter!

Weight 19 lbs 12oz. (50%)
Height 28 1/2 inches (53%)
Head 17 3/4 (50-75%) big strong brain!

In comparison with Tristen he is 2lbs heavier, a half an inch shorter and head is half an inch bigger!

He is doing greatand is really getting vocal... it's so much fun to watch the boys interact with each other... Tristen lives to go into his crib and play with him once he wakes up and then they just have part-time together!

Once again....

I am updating over the last few months, one of my good friends kindly reminded me that I am WAY BEHIND on here... I am so bad! Well lets go back to Tanners 6 month update since he is now 9 months old!!! This past month has been awesome as far as weather goes for this time of year, so we have been outside as much as we can and picking up the yard for winter! Tristen is outside riding his bike as much as he can, he loves that he can do it and start all by himself and ride around sometimes with his neighbor friend. His 6 month checkup Weight: 17lbs. Height: 26 3/4 inches Head: 17 inches He had started to sit up on his own and we started veggies and fruit, I have been making his food in the food processor which has been fun!
He got his first haircut or trim I guess... He was in need of it since he was born with so much hair!
Tristen did a big thing also back in August... Grandpa flew up to Omaha and then took Tristen back down to Texas and he got to go all by himself for a few days and then they drove him back up!
This was from his 6 month check up... looking into the mirror!
This was one of those fabulous moments for me, both boys just playing quietly and I could get something "small" done!
We took our annual family trip down to New Mexico with the boys to go visit Haydens family and for some of the family members to meet Tanner!
We took a few trips to the zoo and enjoyed all the outdoor time that we could!
Tanner started to scoot around a bit at 7 months, he has his two bottom teeth!
Some great outdoor evenings and playing in the leaves!
In early October Tristen and I headed back down to Texas for one of my friends wedding and we had our best friends Jess and Roselynn come with us.. It was Roselynns first airplane ride so Tristen showed her everything that she needed to know! They saw every day for hours and we had a nice long weekend with a last taste of summer! Tanner stayed home with Daddy and it was my first time away from him :(
There was a photo booth at the reception so the McGeough kiddos had to get in and get some shots... that was a lot of fun!
Just cant get enough of that sweet face! I went in to get him after his nap and that is how I found him!
Tanner turned 8 months and started to crawl and then of course we had Tristens 4th birthday, Halloween and Hayden and I even got all dressed up for an adult party! Tristen had a party at a gymnastics academy and it was perfect, the kids ran around and then has cupcakes and all was good! Grandpa, Ree Ree, Aunt Lindsey and cousin Sophia came for his birthday and we all went down to the pumpkin patch and had a blast.
His friends from school at his party
The week before Tristens birthday he started riding his bike, no training wheels! The balance bike he had since he wsa 2 was the best idea ever, he was able to go straight to a regular bike.... he just had to be the one to say ok, lets do it! (ok, I know this picture does not have him with his helmet on, but we always have him wear it.. except this picture! :) )
Tristen decided he wanted to be a doctor for Halloween and Tanner was a Tiger... we did Boo at the Zoo for the first time.... Tristens 4 year checkup Height: 40 inches Weight: 36 lbs
Trick or treating at the stadium....
This is the absolute best purchase we got for when Tanner was born... a video monitor! I wished I had this when Tristen was a baby... its so wonderful to be able to see him whenever I want.... and also to catch things, like in this picture I was able to watch Tanner pull himself up for the first time!!! I knew if I tried to run in there it wouldnt happen or I would miss it, so I just watched it and then took a pic!
Tanners first ride in the wagon without the bumbo... getting to be such a big boy... he babbled the whole time and just loved it!
Took advantage of the great weather to get the Christmas lights up with my helper!
Happy Thanksgiving and 9 months! Tried to get some pictures but easier said then done!
Tristen helped me decorate the tree, we have it as baby-proofed as we can tucked into the corner for Tanner to hopefully not want to play in it! So far he hasnt even tried to crawl over to it.... so far.... :)
Next up a 9 month update on Tanner... in real time!!! WHO HOO!!!
