Client Shower...

One of my clients threw me a very nice shower on Sunday, we had a great time... here are some pics....

This is the cutest thing ever! He can go out in the cold with me on a walk this winter and he will be all bundled up!!!

Madre came up for the shower and to spend some time, its so nice on the deck there..... the trees are starting to change so its pretty for now.... but winter is coming... :(

60 Days... WOW!

I can't believe I am about to "blog" --- I am not much for the whole novel thing but there is so much going through my mind, I figure this is a great place to release it! I am not even sure where to start, I guess the reasoning for all the thoughts is my friend who I play volleyball and softball with had her baby last night, two weeks early and going to the hospital was so exciting for a couple of things, 1. To see Heidi and her new little baby girl Creighton and 2. To see where I am going to be delivering. My hospital just opened a brand new Family Birthplace and its SO NICE, hotel like.... I just kept trying to picture Hayden and myself there and family and friends coming to see us. So then I felt compelled to come home and do more baby things, I painted the letters of his name for the wall and organized the nursery which is as organized as its going to get considering its been ready for a while!



The next thing thats on my mind is what our little man looks like..... I just can't wait to see him... will he have Haydens dark features or will he be more fair skinned and blonde? He rolls around all the time where it basically feels like he is trying to crawl right out! Its a reassuring feeling so I don't complain too much about that. Haydens sister is due in 4 weeks and I am almost jealous, I am not really uncomfortable or in pain yet but just so excited to actually get to hold and see him.


One of my clients is putting on a client baby shower for me this next weekend and I am so excited! My mom is flying up for that and its going to be a fun weekend, I am going to take her to the Nebraska vs Texas Volleball match and then on a tour of the hospital and then to the baby shower. The weekend after that my good friend Jess is having a shower for just the girls, some of my girlfriends here in town, I am pretty lucky to have such nice friends doing that for me, I can't wait!


Well lastly, it seems like 8 weeks is far away but it will probably come faster than I think, so I should really sit back and enjoy this alone time with myself and with Hayden.... I dont know that I will even have time to sit down and type for this long, So with that I will go and enjoy my evening, since I wrote I have to include pics, here are some of the test drive in our stroller... Prego Perez Bear was the passenger... we did it fast so that my neighbors didnt think I was too crazy!!!!

31 Weeks

Wednesday will be 31 weeks, holy cow only 9 weeks left. The belly bump is no longer a bump.

If we mess this one up we might be in trouble!

Hayden and I finished baby class and our nurse kindly gave us a t-shirt for the little man, I figure we can get at least one thing right..... I have heard the saying that babies don't come with instruction manuals, well this is as close as it gets! I thought it was hilarious!
