Happy Thanksgiving....

Heading off to our Thanksgiving dinner with friends....

A typical male.... after eating he was fat and happy --sprawled out and then shot us a smile!

Then it was time to do the hula... he literally sat there sleeping with his arms up!
Our first Thanksgiving all together!

4 Weeks....

Wow, I can not believe its been four weeks and then again at night I can.... What a whirlwind, things are slowly getting a little easier, Tristen is moving his neck around like crazy and just checking everything out, he is tracking noises and does a pretty good job on tummy time! Sleeping is pretty sporadic, some nights are good and he will go like 4 hours and then some are not so hot, we are going to have Daddy try a bottle this week so we can get use to it when its time to go back to work. Its scary to think that Christmas is a month away, Thanksgiving is extra special this year, Hayden and I really have something special to be thankful for this year... his 4 week picture:

This was funny.... I read that about this time babies really like to focus on B&W photos, so as I got dressed the other morning, the little man took a looking at Ansel Adams -- so true!!!

So we had to put a clock and a radio in the cradle so that he would sleep... or at least we think thats whats helping....

In his first pair of overalls....they are still a little big on him, but everything is!

I'm 3 weeks old!

Three weeks old....

Having a nice bath.... Looking at Daddy wondering what the heck are they doing to me???

Uuh - I don't know if I like this or not....

He loves sleeping on our chests.... Now we need him to do that in his cradle!

My favorite so far.... he is showing signs of a smile soon!!!

Well... Here is the story.....

Ok, so I have a small moment in time right now to update before the little man decides he wants more food.... its a constant thing around here these days!

Well to begin, Tristen decided to grace us with his presence 2 weeks and 2 days early, my water broke at home around midnight on the 28th and he was born at 11:24 am October 28..... weighing in at 7lbs 15 oz. and 20 inches long.

The video that is below is literally about 5 minutes after he was born..... They say that is when they are the most alert and we happened to catch him in that mode. Pretty cool!

All is going well, I feel like my only job at this time is to feed him, he dropped his weight and so it was a rough few days getting home and trying to get home to feed and all that fun stuff, so we are slowly getting a grasp on a routine but in all reality the little man is in charge!

Happy Halloween... We didn't expect him to be here, so we had do something for the occasion!

37 Weeks

Well not too much to report, getting bigger I guess, I am past realizing how much I have grown... I have plenty of people at the club who remind me of that daily! Its getting down to it....
