JH 2011!

Once again Im a bit behind...We headed out skiing for our Annual Jackson Hole trip in January with Dave and of course had a blast.... Tristen is ready to get skiing next year!

Christmas in Texas.....

Catch up time!

Ok, for the new year I will try to be better about getting this thing update more, but for now its another compiled slideshow of some of the Pre-Christmas fun and then once I get more pictures I will have the Texas Christmas! Things have been crazy busy but in a fun way... Tristen is talking up a storm and is still obsessed with phones and the vacuum!

ROAD TRIP.... TEXAS!

So Hayden went to Florida for a tourney and some recruiting and was going to be gone for the Big 12 game in Texas, so I decided that I was going to head down there with Tristen to go to the game and see the family for the weekend.... To make a long story short the flights were going to work out for us so we drove! My Dad flew up to drive down with Tristen and I and then drove back up home with me and then he flew back! Crazy right! Well it worked out great and Tristen was a GREAT traveler in the car. We took off at 245 am on TH morning and got to TX by noon.... I was able to have some good time with family!

They were too cute together.... right after this pic I came outside to leave and Tristen was having so much fun playing in the leaves that when I went to get stuff in the car and Tristen he just yelled across the lawn "Bye Mommy" -- he wouldnt have care at all if he stayed to play more!

Best thing ever, Kim took Friday off and took the kids out of school so we could have time together! Yippee! We got to play and go to the park numerous times.. fed the ducks and enjoyed some great weather!

Game time! I took Marci and Kim to the game, we tailgated before and had ourselves a wonderful time... I separated my ribs a couple weeks back and all I can say is the amount of laughing we did together made them hurt so bad but for such a good reason... we need to do more of those days more often!

Enough said!

Little things....

Tristen and I made a tent the other morning with his little table and boy did he love it... might have to get him a real one for Christmas! He is quite the artist, loves his window crayons!

Rewind one week....

Here is my best attempt at getting everything in order and all the fun activities and events this past week.... We started out with Tristen's check up and then Grandpa and ReeRee came.... We celebrated Tristen's actual birthday by putting his new Skuut (bike)together and then going to the pumpkin patch. He loved it and it was so much fun to see how much more he was able to do there compared to last year. We had cake and opened presents, he was so excited about his backpack he ran around the house with it on backwards!Friday was his birthday party, we have been so lucky with the weather so we had it at the park and had a few of his little friends out to play then have pizza and cupcakes.... nothing real big this year and no major theme... I did make froggy cupcakes which was fun. On Sat, Hayden was kind enough to stay home with Tristen so I could take my parents to the NE/Mizzou football game which was a blast, we got downtown to do a little pregame and I think we all had a blast! Sunday was Halloween and Tristen was a little MONKEY! He did so well, did about 5 houses and he had it down, then we came home and he helped me pass out treats to our "friends" that came to the door. To top it all off he then spent his first night in his toddler bed which is his crib that converts but he was so excited!!! We talked to him a lot about staying in bed until Mommy and Daddy come to get you and so far he has done just that.... He is doing so well! We had a blast this past week and are thankful that my parents were able to make it up to help out and celebrate! Still cant believe my little baby is 2....
