Well after a few months... ahem.... ok about a year - Lots had changed in the Perez house and its time to start updating. First off last Spring was an amazing spring for Nebraska Tennis and we all really enjoyed watching those gals go all the way to the end. Hayden and I celebrated our 10th anniversary and were able to sneak away to Cancun right after his season for a couple of days to an adults only, all-inclusive resort and really enjoyed some quiet time. It was when we were down in Mexico that things started to change for us... long story short we ended up here in Lubbock, TX and Hayden is now coaching for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. It was so hard to leave Lincoln but this has always been Haydens dream to take himself to a head position eventually and that is what we are hoping for one day. He works so hard and is amazing at what he does, so who knows where we might end up next, but for now we are back in TEXAS!
Tristen turned 5 in late October and is a riot. He has such a personality and loves his new Pre-School. Tanner is at a different daycare bc Tristens school doesn't take anyone under two. Tanner is a total boy, loves sports.... obsessed with any ball, baseball, football, soccer.... you name it. He and Tristen really do play well together and Tristen is amazing with him.
We are finally settled in and Lubbock feels like home. Santa is coming soon and I just love this time of year. This is the first year Tristen has really been asking for something and not changing what he wants daily. I can't wait for Christmas!
