7 month old baby idol!

So the 7th month has come, Its a little scary - I dont want him to grow up! We took our normal months picture but it wasnt as easy, he wanted to roll and go other places, so it was pretty funny. I couldnt resist and HAD to make him a little baby idol shirt so he has something to see when he is older and so he is sporting that in the picture!

BABY IDOL!

Ok, so I entered Tristen in this baby Idol contest here in Lincoln hosted by a local radio station and he became a finalist. Basically you just had to submit a photo and they chose 4 per week for 3 weeks based on who was the cutest and he ended up being a week two finalist! So then it was based on votes for the top twelve and whomever got the most votes won! This morning they announced the winner on air and the winner was Baby Tristen!!! We have some great friends and family and won a GREAT prize package!!!! This is the link to his winnings!!!

Tristen got his pictures taken!!!

He did so well and we had so much fun! The guy taking his picture didnt have to work at all to get him to smile.... it worked out great!

Tristen is thoroughly enjoying pulling on my hair here, if you cant tell at the look on my face I am SO ENJOYING it as well!! :) OUCH.....

I broke out this toy today and Hayden showed it to Tristen and the video shows it all, it was so funny to see him looking so intently on getting that door to shut! He did really well for the first time!

Crazy Days....

This past week has been a little crazy, My first Mothers Day was memorable but not in a good way, Tristens ear infection was resistent to the meds and it came back.... then Hayden got sick with a viral infection so I have been doing it alone for the last few days... No fun but it could be worse. As of late though Tristen had his 6 month check up and is doing great, he has started veggies and some rice cereal.... He is sitting up pretty well and is holding his own bottle.... He has a little spunk to him..... its so much fun!!!

We have had visitors!

Last week was busy, Tristen got his second ear infection, lets hope it stays at 2 and no more and then my brother and his girlfriend came to see Tristen for the first time!!! We had lots of fun and stayed very busy.... Tristen even went on his first boat ride!
